Create a Bulletproof Value Proposition Today

Whether or not you’re in sales, we sell ourselves everyday. If you do get paid commission, then you will need to be able to tell the world why you’re better than the rest. By creating your own personal value proposition, you can highlight everything that makes you amazing.

Guys today I want to talk to you about creating your unique value proposition. I think as sales people we don’t usually spend a lot of time crafting our unique value proposition but just like it is when you go to sell a new product you have to memorize that script ingrain it in your heart and mind and fuse your personality in it. It’s just as critical to take time and craft your unique value proposition because when you really think about it, you’re truly selling yourself day in and day out.

So I want to give you guys three questions to write down and answer these questions and it will help you craft and hone in to what your unique value proposition is.

Question one.

The first question is what makes you different? When you really think about it the only thing that separates you from your competition is your brand it’s what you bring to the table. So what is it? What is it that makes you different? Maybe you’re a people person you build rapport within 5 seconds. Maybe you’re a numbers guy you love analytics you crunch the market numbers. You know the market better than anybody else. What is it that makes you different?

Question two.

Second question is: What are your shining achievements? What is it that you’re most proud of that you’ve accomplished in this life? Is it that you raised the family of five kids? Is it that you served in the military? This is such a good way to give your prospect a window into who you are and what makes you unique?

Question three.

Now the third and final question I want you to write down is: What do you love about your job? Why did you get into this in the first place? What are you passionate about? What are you hoping to accomplish? This is a great way to help you connect with your prospects and your clients and show to them what you really bring to the table
