All of the ads you will be running will fall into Facebooks “Special Ad Category”. This is because your ads will be focused on housing. Facebook limits some of the advanced targeting features for these types of ads to prevent people from discriminating against who is shown housing opportunities. Don’t worry. This will not affect the performance of your ad. At the end of the ad creation step you will be asked to acknowledge that your ad is part of Facebooks Special Ad Categories.

Key Terms for The Value We Provide:

After your ad has run its course, we will report back to you with numbers that detail the success of your ad. These numbers will give you a better understanding of how users on Facebook felt about your ad and will help us make your ads more successful in the future.

Impressions:
“Impressions” are how many times your ad was seen by Facebook users.

Reach:
“Reach” is how many times your ad was looked at for at least 3 seconds by Facebook users. “Reach” will always be a lower number then “Impressions”.

Engagements:
An “Engagement” is a comment, like, share or reaction to your ad. However, a lead is NOT considered an “Engagement”. Facebook refers to a lead as a “Result”.

Result:
A Facebook Ad “Result” is a lead that was acquired through your ad.

Example:

The leads that are generated from your ad will be emailed to you in real time. After your ad has finished, we will send you something that looks like this.
