Kristi Vellema uses American Lifestyle magazine because it’s a quality piece of marketing that people keep and show to their friends. While most direct-mail pieces get overlooked and tossed in the trash, American Lifestyle lands on the coffee table and is read by every member of the family. She targets her “past clients and people [she] sees on a regular basis and likes to connect with often.”

“The importance of regular marketing is keeping me front and center in front of those past clients because I send the magazine to them regularly.” As a result of this method, she was contacted by the parents of a one of her children’s old friends. They would have never called her, but they received the magazine. Kristi was able to sell their home for 10% above market value.
